Piotr Górski et al. and on banks and roadsides (sMith 2004). It is included in the red list of threatened species (category R; Żarnowiec et al. 2004). Aucalon muticum is known from many sites in Poland (wierzcholska & Plášek 2006, arMata & zuBel 2007, Fojcik 2011, steBel 2011), but their number may be higher, since the moss is small and can be easily overlooked (Porley 2008, steBel 2011). So far, this species has not been reported from Łódzkie province (staniaszek-kik & wolski 2009). 2. Cephaloziella elachista (J.B. Jack ex Gottsche & Rabenh.) Schiffn.
