Abstract:As the winner of the NIST lightweight cryptography project, Ascon has undergone extensive self‐evaluation and third‐party cryptanalysis. In this paper, we use constraint programming (CP) as a tool to analyze the Ascon permutation and propose several differential‐based distinguishers.
