“…This result is consistent with earlier stijdies that have placed Scouleria and Drummondia as sister genera Goffinet and Cox, 2000;Hedderson et al 2004;Cox et al 2010; but see Werner et al 2013 for a contrasting result). It is also inconsistent with the placement of Tridontium within the Scouleriaceae (Goffinet et al 2009).…”

“…The relationship between Drummondia and Scouleria is well established in molecular phylogenetic studies Goffinet and Cox, 2000;Hedderson et al 2004;Cox et al 2010) and Hedderson et al (2004) suggested that they should be placed within the same family. Studies vary depending on the sampling, but there may also be a relationship between these two genera and Bryoxiphium (Goffinet and Cox 2000), Dkranoweisia (Cox et al 2010), and Hymenoloma (Stech et al 2012;Werner et al 2013). Tridontium has not been included in broad phylogenetic studies of the haplolepideous mosses, and its position remains uncertain.…”

“…Since the beginning of molecular phylogenetic studies, the close position of Hymenoloma to the Scouleriaceae and Drummondiaceae was revealed, while Dicranoweisia was found within Rhabdoweisiaceae (Hedderson et al, 2004;Tsubota et al, 2003Tsubota et al, , 2004. The most comprehensive molecular phylogenetic studies of the genus Hymenoloma by Werner et al (2013) also supported a remote position of this genus from Dicranoweisia. Their analysis placed Hymenoloma within the strongly supported clade with Scouleria and Drummondia.…”

“…And review applies to the system as a whole and individual departments, classes, families, genera, species aggregates as well with justification of the places of each taxon in the system [LEWINSKY, 1993;ZANDER, 1993;GREVEN, 1995; BLOM, 1996;MUNOZ, PANDO, 2000; HEDENÄS, 2001;IGNATOV, HUTTUNEN, 2002;POTEMKIN, 2002;VANDERPOORTEN et al, 2002;WERNER et al, 2002WERNER et al, , 2004WERNER et al, , 2005WERNER et al, , 2007WERNER et al, , 2013HUTTUNEN, 2004;HUTTUNEN, IGNATOV, 2004 SCHUMACKER, VÁŇA, 2005;HOLYOAK, PEDERSEN, 2007;SENECA, SÖDERSTRÖM, 2009; VANDERPOORTEN, HEDENÄS, 2009;HOLYOAK, 2010;VILNET et al, 2010;PLAŠEK, et al, 2011; BAKALIN, VILNET, 2012 etc.]. This takes into account many changes in the names of taxa that occurred in monographic descriptions of many genera, families and other taxa and which are used in various lists of bryoflora and bryophyte checklists [IGNATOV, AFONINA, 1992, GAPON, 1998CROSBY et al, 1999;VIRCHENKO, VÁŇA, 2000; SÖDERSTRÖM, URMI, and VÁŇA, 2002; Kučera, VÁŇA, 2003; OCHYRA, ZARNOWIEC, BEDNAREK-OCHYRA,2003;HEDENAS, ROSBORG, 2008;BELL, HYVONEN, 2010;FELDBERG et al, 2010;ROS et al, 2008ROS et al, , 2013 CHECKLIST…, 2014, etc.].…”
