“…Massicus raddei (Blessig) (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) is a primary wood borer that mostly attacks oak species of Quercus and Castanea that are healthy or almost dying; its larvae bore into the xylem of host trees, creating large galleries that obstruct the transportation of water and nutrition, thus causing crown dieback or even death [ 1 ]. Massicus raddei has a wide distribution in the oriental region, including most provinces of China [ 2 ], the Korean Peninsula [ 3 , 4 , 5 ], Japan [ 6 , 7 ], Vietnam [ 8 ], and the Russian Far East [ 9 , 10 ].
