New cyclic glycolipids from Silene succulenta promote in vitro MCF-7 breast carcinoma cell apoptosis by cell cycle arrest and in silico mitotic Mps1/TTK inhibition

Abstract: S. succulenta may be effective in the treatment of breast cancer (MCF-7). In addition, these findings suggest that the isolated new cyclic glycolipids using a bioactive-guided approach can be used as potential antitumour breast cancer agents.
