New Bridges to Build: A Note on the Social Psychology of Race, Racism, and Discrimination

Abstract

As one gauge, at the time of this writing, the articles in the issue collectively have nearly 1,800 Google cites, with four of the articles, inclusive of the introductory essay, having 200 or more citations. 2 These new journals include the Du Bois Review: Social Science Research on Race (launched in 2004); Race and Social Problems (launched in 2008); Politics, Groups, and Identities (launched in 2012); Sociology of Race and Ethnicity (launched in 2012); and the Journal of Race, Ethnicity, and Politics (launched in 2015).
