New Alkaloids from the Leaves ofCephaelis correae

Abstract: The El-mass spectrum showed a molecular ion peak M at m/z 521, which was confirmed by positive and negative FAB-MS. From the high-resolution mass spectrum the molecular formula could be deduced as C28H35N505. The 1H-NMR showed characteristic signals for an indole moiety:
