New 2d $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = (0, 2) dualities from four dimensions

Abstract: We propose some new infra-red dualities for 2d$$ \mathcal{N} $$ N = (0, 2) theories. The first one relates a USp(2N) gauge theory with one antisymmetric chiral, four fundamental chirals and N Fermi singlets to a Landau-Ginzburg model of N Fermi and 6N chiral fields with cubic interactions. The second one relates SU(2) linear quiver gauge theories of arbitrary length N − 1 with the addition of N Fermi singlets for any non-negative integer N. They can be understood as a general… Show more

“…See [10,11,[14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22] for recent works in 3d N = 2 quivers. Let us also mention that a similar technique has been recently exploited in the context of 2d (0, 2) supersymmetric field theories to find duals of Usp(2N ) gauge theory with one antisymmetric chiral, four fundamental chirals and N Fermi singlets [23]. The iterative (or sequential) application of Seiberg dualities in quiver gauge theories played a crucial role in various recent works concerning 3d N = 2 QFT's, see for instance [10,11,18,19,21].…”

“…For example, various 3d N = 2 dualities [13][14][15][16][17] have been derived with an iterative (or sequential) application of the deconfinement procedure. An example of deconfinement also appeared in the context of 2d N = (0, 2) theories in [18].…”

“…One can also study compactifications on surfaces starting from 5d [206,207] or 4d [208][209][210]. Similarly we can consider compactifying on circles starting from 5d [211] and 3d [212][213][214][215].…”
