Neutron Scattering Investigations on Aqueous UO2(ClO4)2 Solution

Abstract: From the counting rates — measured at room temperatures — of neutrons inelastically scattered on water and special aqueous UO2(ClO4)2 solutions the averaged frequencies of the superposition bands of the hindered translations and hindered torsions of the water were determined. In this, the Bravais lattice approximation was used for determining the phonon density function.
