Abstract:The dose equivalent to the human body may be derived from the principal reactions of neutrons with human tissue. Instruments are currently available for the measurement of dose equivalent rate over various ranges of neutron energy, the dose due to criticality accidents, and the dose equivalent to the person under chronic exposure.
