“…The present result of 37.2 ± 2.1 barn is in good agreement within 5.7% (1r) with the values obtained by De Corte [33], Gryntakis [34], Knopf [35], Simonits [36], Anufriev [37], Heft [38], Gleason [39], Erdtmann [40], De Soete [41], Damle, and Friesenhahn [43]. On the other hand, the measurements obtained by Karadag [1], De Corte [30], Kafala [3], Gillette [2], Hogg [42], Lyon [44], Pomerance [45], and Seren [46] differ by more than 5.7% from the present result. In addition, the evaluated thermal neutron cross-section values for the 186 W(n, c) 187 W reaction, 37.5 barn of ENDF/ B-VII.0 [29], 39.45 barn of JENDL-3.3 [14], 38.27 barn of BROND-2 [31], 37 ± 2 barn of Holden [32], and 37.9 ± 0.6 barn of Mughabghab [5] are agreed with the present result.…”
