Neuroprotection in Perimenopausal Women

Abstract: Endocrine and neural senescence overlap in time, by intertwined complex feedback loops. Womens' brain is genetically more prone to suffer during life, and perimenopause is a "critical period" in neuroaging, when the degenerative processes begin.
