Abstract:Neuronal ceroid lipofuscinosis type 2 (CLN2) disease is a rare autosomal recessive neurodegenerative disorder caused by mutations in the CLN2/TPP1 gene, leading to a deficiency in tripeptidyl peptidase 1 activity.
