Neuromotricity and body schema. Bases for the use of body percussion in the sciences of physical educa-tion and sport

The Journal of Retos has been selected to be included in Scopus' second quartile in the fields of education, orthopaedics and sports medicine, physiotherapy, sports therapy, and rehabilitation starting from January 25, 2024. Although it is worth mentioning that this accomplishment came almost ten years after the magazine Retos was included in Scopus in 2016, it has now risen to the second quartile. The objective of the study is to present a graphical representation of the scientific patterns observed in the journal Retos from 2016 to 2023. Bibliometric analysis facilitates the identification and examination of scientific trends, as well as the assessment of research structure, patterns, and trends. Hence, bibliometric analysis is a pertinent and crucial approach for attaining the goals of this study. We conducted an analysis on a dataset consisting of 2334 entries obtained from the Scopus data center. This study employed the software VOSviewer and Rstudio for doing bibliometric analysis. The findings suggest that the topics of physical education and physical activity are prevailing. The growing specialized topics are BAPNE techniques and neuromotricity. Journal Retos has made significant contributions to the advancement of knowledge in various areas, including education, orthopaedics, sports medicine, physiotherapy, sports therapy, and rehabilitation, on a global scale. The aim of this research is to review the basis of neurodevelopment in early childhood education and provide interdisciplinary development tables that encompass cognitive, kinesthetic, and musical aspects. After reviewing numerous authors, and in order to provide early childhood education teachers with a reliable overview of the subject, we present here tables that are always conditioned by genetic and environmental factors. The development tables offer guidance information in areas such as language, motor coordination, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, spatio-temporal relationships, time horizons, logic, numerical relationships, and rhythmic motor, melodic, and socio-musical aspects, among others. Traditional dances in Spain. Bibliometric study based on high impact search engines

The purpose of this research is to carry out a bibliometric analysis on traditional dances in Spain with the aim of parcelling all the data obtained in an academic way. A total of N=224 articles published between 2012 and 2022 and indexed in Web of Science were analysed. We used an ex post facto retrospective design and an analysis of frequencies carried out in the Mircrosoft Excel programme. The documents studied allowed us to classify all the publications by genres and areas (dance, history, sociology, education, ethnomusicology, anthropology, musicology, etc.), as well as the most prolific authors and the highest number of citations, among other aspects. As main results, it was observed that first-order documents in article format and written in Spanish predominated, with flamenco being the most mentioned genre and dance the most representative area. The most prolific year was 2020 and the most cited was 2017. The magazines Música Oral del Sur and La Madrugá, and the publishing house of the University of Murcia stood out in terms of number of publications. On the other hand, in terms of the number of citations, Leisure Studies and the Taylor & Francis publishing house predominated. The most significant author was Vargas-Macias, A. and the most cited author was Matteucci, X. This study could be taken as a starting point for future research on traditional dances in Spain.
