Neuromedin B excites central lateral amygdala neurons and reduces cardiovascular output and fear‐potentiated startle

Abstract: Neuromedin B (NMB) and gastrin‐releasing peptide (GRP) are the two mammalian analogs in the bombesin peptide family that exert a variety of actions including emotional processing, appetitive behaviors, cognition, and tumor growth.
