Neurological Disturbances of Ciguatera Poisoning: Clinical Features and Pathophysiological Basis

Abstract: Ciguatera fish poisoning (CFP), the most prevalent seafood poisoning worldwide, is caused by the consumption of tropical and subtropical fish contaminated with potent neurotoxins called ciguatoxins (CTXs).
