“…Detrusor pressure increases as the low compliance bladder is fully filled, the growing pressure is considered to be further harmful to renal function, which might finally cause renal failure . The foremost target of treatment for SCI patients with NB is to maintain the detrusor pressure in the period of storage as well as micturition in a security range and for the purposes of protecting renal function . Urodynamics is an important approach of diagnosing, treating and effective evaluation for bladder dysfunction .…”

There are demonstrated advantages in terms of quality of life 17 and complication rates 18 with certain methods of bladder management -for these issues, a discussion with a urologist may help patients make a fully informed decision about the investigation and management of their bladder.…”

“…10 A higher incidence of UUT abnormalities was associated with the use of a suprapubic indwelling catheter in this study 10 and with transurethral catheter use in another long-term follow-up study. 11 Previous studies in other countries have reported a variable adherence to the available urological surveillance guidelines [12][13][14][15] and just few studies have explored UU outcomes in individuals with long-term SCI, therefore we conducted this study with the following aims:…”
