Abstract: SummaryCerebrovascular injury frequently occurs in children with sickle cell anaemia (SCA). Limited access to magnetic resonance imaging and angiography (MRI‐MRA) in sub‐Saharan Africa impedes detection of clinically unapparent cerebrovascular injury.
