Abstract: Neuroendocrine tumors are rare and can be observed in different gastrointestinal organs. The diagnosis often is made by incidence like in carcinoids of the appendix vermiformis, or special clinical symptoms may develop due to tumor growth. 29 consecutive patients were evaluated prospectively during 30 months.
