Neuroendocrine Carcinoma of the Thymus

Abstract: Diagnosis and treatment of neuroendocrine carcinoma of the thymus (NECT) is the significant problem in oncology. On the clinical course these tumors are much more aggressive than epithelial tumors of the thymus. In most of observations in NECTs there is pronounced macro- and microinvasion in the mediastinal tissue and in 30% of patients there are reveled remote metastases.
