Abstract:The use of a netgun combined with other techniques facilitated the live capture of the Western Grebe Aechmophorus occidentalis occupying a shallow water harbor, with boat traffic, and abundant underwater structure. Transportability and adaptability rendered the netgun an effective tool, in this constrained environment.
