“…A sedimentary basin filled with fine-grained lacustrine-palustrine, coarsegrained (glaci-)fluvial deposits, and tills existed at the Nesseltalgraben site from at least MIS 5c until the LGM (Mayr et al, 2017). Previous research on these lacustrine-palustrine sediments provided a first lithological description, bulk geochemical data, and a stratigraphic inventory based on paleomagnetic data, palynology, and ten radiocarbon ages with a range from > 51.5 to 27.1 ka BP (Mayr et al, 2017).
