“…Towards Orłowiec, subsidence trends deepen to about -1.2 mm/year, and the amplitude of the changes reaches -22.0 mm. The results are contrary to the results of geomorphological and hydrographic observations (Krzyszkowski et al, 2000;Badura et al, 2004Badura et al, , 2007Štěpančíková et al, 2008.…”

“…On this basis, we can assume that a similar order of movements occurred after the Cretaceous inversion, which included the Bohemian Massif. On the basis of geological and geomorphological evidence, the authors expected to obtain confirmation of the trend (but not the size of displacements), where vertical crustal movements have continued to the present day (Zeuner, 1928;Schwarzbach, 1942;Oberc and Dyjor, 1969;Radwański, 1975;Batik et al, 1996;Ivan, 1996;Don, 1996;Žatecká, 1996;Przybylski, 1998;Sroka and Kowalska, 1998;Krzyszkowski et al, 2000;Ranoszek, 2001;Badura et al, 2004Badura et al, , 2007Kontny, 2004;Štěpančíková et al, 2008;Badura and Rauch, 2014). The results rather suggest that in the eastern part of the Central Sudetes subsidence prevails, which is consistent with the recent crustal movement models developed by Kowalczyk et al (2010).…”

“…Its results has already been commonly applied in tectonic and geomorphological studies of several areas (Caiazzo et al, 2006;Cotilla et al, 2007;D'Alessandro et al, 2008;Grohmann et al, 2007;Jelínek et al, 2009Jelínek et al, , 2011Jordan, 2003;Kukowski et al, 2008;Masoud, Koike, 2011;Miliaresis, 2001;Minár et al, 2011;Mumipour, Nejad, 2011;Norini et al, 2004;Rehak et al, 2008;Seta et al, 2008;Sung, Chen, 2004;Zuchiewicz, 2009;etc.). The established morphological lineament network forms a study foundation of for example: neo-tectonic activities of areas of interest (Arzhannikova et al, 2011;Delcaillau et al, 2010;Gioia et al, 2011;Ruszkiczay-Rüdiger et al, 2009), study of the river network genesis (Maroukian et al, 2008;Štěpančíková et al, 2008;Zuchiewicz, 1998Zuchiewicz, , 2011, study of landslide hazard (Cadoppi et al, 2007;Kokkalas, Koukouvelas, 2005;Pánek et al, 2009;Marschalko et al, 2011), etc.. In the field of applied geology, the MSA is frequently used in studies of tectonic deformation of the rock massif.…”

“…(3), waterfall-type knickpoints are observed in watersheds 20 and 42 [15]. These knickpoints are also located close to the faults, and correspond with locally high SL values, as indicated elsewhere [35,42]. The influence of the faults on SL is also shown by the buffer analysis: 48% of anomalously high SL values are located within the buffer zones along the major faults.…”
