Abstract:Este artículo examina la concepción neopatrimonial del poder como causa del desarrollo de la gobernanza criminal. Se analiza cómo el patrimonialismo y la cultura del privilegio propician la privatización del poder público por funcionarios y actores privados, quienes asumen lo público como algo propio, y la gobernanza se hace privada.
