Neonatal Rat Cardiomyocytes Show Characteristics of Nonhomotypic Gap Junction Channels

Abstract: Neonatal rat cardiomyocytes mainly coexpress the connexins Cx40, Cx43, and to a small amount Cx45, leading to potential formation of mixed (heteromeric/heterotypic) gap junction channels.
