NeogeneCorylopsisseeds from eastern Tennessee

Abstract: A new fossil species of Corylopsis (Hamamelidaceae), C. grisea Quirk & Hermsen sp. nov, based on seeds from the early Pliocene Gray Fossil Site (GFS), eastern Tennessee, U.S.A., is described.
