Neoadjuvant chemoradiation changes podoplanin expression in esophageal cancer patients

Abstract: BACKGROUND Locally advanced adenocarcinoma of the esophagus (EAC) and squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) result in a worse prognosis. Neoadjuvant treatment improves survival, however, only for responders.
