Neighbor discovery in ad-hoc networks using dual band scheme

Abstract: The aim of this paper is to reduce the average neigh-bor discovery time and average energy consumption in self organized ad-hoc networks. The rate at which the data is transmitted is high, up to Gbps, in 60 GHz networks. These networks often use directional antenna which provides high data transmissions.
