Negotiating Repairedness: How Artifacts Under Repair Become Contingently Stabilized

Abstract: This paper examines "repairedness" - the contingently stable, working version of an artifact under repair that is negotiated out of multiple possible versions to bring about the temporary conclusion of repair work.
