Negative Pressure Wound Therapy to the Dura

Abstract: Negative-pressure wound therapy is historically contraindicated in patients with osteomyelitis or exposed dura. The authors present a case of a complex reconstruction of an infected full thickness scalp burn, where negative-pressure wound therapy was successfully used over the dura.
