Negative Comments and Social Media: How Cognitive Biases may Contribute to Body Image Concerns

Abstract: Body image concern is a highly prevalent issue thought to be exacerbated by social media. In addition to sociocultural factors, cognitive biases may also contribute to body image concerns.
