Increasing numbers of studies have been reporting cognitive biases that contribute to cognitive impairments in patients with schizophrenia, and cognitive bias and cognitive impairments appear to produce reciprocal deterioration and worsen disability (Frydecka et al., 2022; Hu et al., 2022; Navalón et al., 2021; Tang et al., 2022).
