Abstract:Com o presente trabalho analisamos um poema de Bruno de Menezes, modernista da Amazônia, escrito na década de 1920. Este poema é analisado pela historiografia e pela crítica literária como uma “festa” de negros em que se tem a percepção de características afro-brasileiras.
