Abstract: Nonevaporable getter (NEG) pumping strips[1][2][3], 6.2-m long, were installed inside four Tevatron B2 magnets to improve the vacuum environment. This established A linear pumping scheme in the long, unbakable vacuum chamber. The total pressure was reduced significantly.
