This study explores the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in recruitment and selection (RS) within the context of Human Resource Management (HRM). Contrast to past studies, this study makes a valuable theoretical contribution of a conceptual model to understand the effective use of AI in recruitment & selection processes by investigating the underexplored impact of the recruitment phase and the critical perspective of recruitment professionals. In so doing it builds on and extends technology adoption theory within the information systems by integrating HRM literature. The findings of this qualitative study indicate that AI is suitable for use in specific recruitment phases such as sourcing, pre-screening/pre-selection, and candidate engagement. However, there is a reluctance to use AI in the recruitment pre-planning and interview stages. It contributes valuable insights to inform HRM practitioners and organizations seeking to integrate AI into their recruitment processes.

Comprehensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research systematizes scholarly research and enhances the quality of research output. Scientific researchers must be familiar with them and skilled to conduct their investigation within the frames of their chosen research type. When conducting quantitative research, scientific researchers should describe an existing theory, generate a hypothesis from the theory, test their hypothesis in novel research, and re-evaluate the theory. Thereafter, they should take a deductive approach in writing the testing of the established theory based on experiments. When conducting qualitative research, scientific researchers raise a question, answer the question by performing a novel study, and propose a new theory to clarify and interpret the obtained results. After which, they should take an inductive approach to writing the formulation of concepts based on collected data. When scientific researchers combine the whole spectrum of inductive and deductive research approaches using both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, they apply mixed-method research. Familiarity and proficiency with these research aspects facilitate the construction of novel hypotheses, development of theories, or refinement of concepts.

Ramadan fasting creates lifestyle changes for those who live it, the physical benefits have been produced by many researchers. Interesting how Ramadan fasting changes the dimension of faith, so this study aims to explore Ramadan fasting as a reclamation of faith. This article is the result of findings from a qualitative type of literature research, taking the theory of reclamation in relation to faith, then analyzing it inductively to produce conclusions. The results of the study show: Ramadan fasting is a reclamation of faith where the order is intended for believers to become pious individuals both in the individual and social dimensions, manifesting in changes and increasing faith towards a better and more meaningful direction in their lives. The implications of research on the importance of faith are manifested in real behavior in the reality of life, more detailed indicators of increasing faith in Ramadan fasting are needed for further research. The research is expected to contribute to the development of Islamic education in the study of the dimensions of faith through Ramadan fasting
