Near Optimum and Highly Efficient Decision-Feedback Receivers for Direct Sequence Ultra-Wideband Radio

Abstract: This paper investigates three decisionfeedback receivers for Direct-Sequence Ultra-Wideband Radio (DS-UWB) based on two-channel BPSK modulation with ternary spreading code. A compact and insightful vector-matrix signal model is built up for receiver design under UWB channel dispersion over many consecutive symbols.
