NCX1 Expression and Functional Activity Increase in Microglia Invading the Infarct Core

Abstract: Background and Purpose-The sodium-calcium exchanger NCX1 represents a key mediator for maintaining [Na ϩ ] i and [Ca 2ϩ ] i in anoxic conditions.
