Abstract:Following up with radiological parameter analysis, gamma spectrometry was used to assess the specific activity of 238U, 232Th, and 40K in sediment samples collected at Gosong Beach, on the west coast of Kalimantan Island, Indonesia. Except for 40K, the mean activity levels of 238U, 232Th, and 40K were within the range of the global average.
