Natural Products and Derivatives Affecting Neurotransmission Relevant to Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Disease

Abstract: The two major neurodegenerative diseases Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and Parkinson’s disease (PD) are characterised by low levels in the brain of the neurotransmitters acetylcholine (ACh) and dopamine (DA), respectively.
