Natural polyphenols in preclinical models of epilepsy

Abstract: Natural polyphenols are being tested both in preclinical and clinical settings for the treatment of different neurological disorders. The article describes the outcome of three polyphenols, resveratrol, epigallocatechin gallate, and quercetin, in preclinical animal models of epilepsy (both acute and chronic) and epileptogenesis.
