“…The delay in our study was measured from the time the symptoms were first noted by the patient to the first visit to the urogynecology clinic. However, POP symptoms and LUTS usually increase and worsen with time and first time significant symptom should be distinguished from first time symptom which was probably mild in nature at that time [13]. In one study of over 3 years' follow-up in women with diagnosed prolapse, the maximal vaginal descent increased by at least 2 cm in 11.0% of the women and decreased by at least 2 cm in 2.7%.…”
