This study examines the relationship between corporate culture and employees' job performance in a multinational company operated in Malaysia. Malaysia is well-known as a culturally-diverse country in the world. Therefore, the selected multinational company needs to assessits internal cultures as workers from different ethnical backgrounds work together. Thegeneralobjectiveof this studyis to determine corporate culture's effect on job performance among the workers in the targeted multinational company. The selected cultural dimensions to study corporate culture were power distance and uncertainty avoidance, from a theory developed by Geert Hofstede. The research design adopted for the current study was a quantitative correlation design. A self-administered questionnaire was developed and distributed to the targeted respondents for obtainingprimary data. IBM SPSS 25.0 was employed to analyse reliability analysis, frequency analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis. This study identified that both power distance and uncertainty avoidance exert a significant and moderately positive effect on employees' job performance. Hence, the selected multinational company should be alert and keep an eye on enhancing and strengthening the two said dimensions since itgives impact on the workers' job performance.

In this article we investigated the predominance of six unique dimensions of decisionmaking. We defined those dimensions as rationality, acuity, autonomy, openness, control, and emotion-neutrality. Our data is based on an online survey conducted on a global scale. From this survey, we received a total of 356 responses, of which 204 (57.3%) are females, and 152 (42.70%) are males. Of the respondents, 139 (39.04%) work in the education sector as teachers, academicians, lab instructors, course assistants and the remainder in other occupations. Our results suggest that emotion-neutrality is positively associated with all the dimensions of decision-making except acuity. We found that emotion-neutrality plays a significant role in the decision-making processes. However, female respondents perceive themselves to be less emotion-neutral, a finding that is amplified in the education sector. Thus, female teachers are more likely to make emotional decisions.

Finding a suitable support is a key process in the life history of climbing plants. Climbers that find a suitable support have greater performance and fitness than those that remain prostrate. Numerous studies on climbing plant behavior have elucidated the mechanistic details of support searching and attachment. Far fewer studies have addressed the ecological significance of support-searching behavior and the factors that affect it. Among these, the diameter of supports influences their suitability for twining plants. When support diameter increases beyond some point climbing plants are unable to maintain tensional forces and therefore lose attachment to the trellis. Here we further investigate this issue by putting pea plants in the situation to choose between supports of different diameters while their movement was recorded by means of a three-dimensional motion analysis system. The results indicate that the way climbing plants move can vary depending on whether they are presented with one or two potential supports. Furthermore, when presented with a choice between a thin and a thick support, the plants showed a distinct preference for the former than the latter. The present findings shed further light on how climbers make decisions as far as support search is concerned, and provide evidence that plants adopt one of several alternative plastic responses in a way that optimally corresponds to environmental scenarios.
