In order to realize the interpretation of online artworks, the art design of artworks is studied on the basis of new media digital environment. Through the presentation of digital works, the enhancement of dramatic art appreciation, the balanced display of art appreciation, and the enhancement of digital aesthetic creation, the interpretation of artworks has been successfully completed, which strongly supports the digitization of new media. Art design is to constantly breed an updated online art space and attract and summon more viewers’ new experience, new creation, and new perception so as to trigger and develop new propositions, new exploration, and new atmosphere of new media drama. For the current construction of traditional art design, new media digital technology plays a major role. The transformation of digital technology and Internet media is another “holographic” extension of the human body, which has an extremely strong impact on new media art and comprehensively updated our life, art, and aesthetic concepts. This is not only a revolution of media but also a change of art. At the same time, it is also accompanied by the “expansion” of art theory. What this change ultimately needs to complete is the revolution of media culture that affects the development process of human civilization.

Rangda and Barong appear a lot in performing art, paintings, and tattoos in Bali. The sacred rituals involving the two creatures always attract attention—likewise forms of performances and crafts for tourists. Historically the existence of Rangda and Barong started from the text of Calon Arang, which initially came from the island of Java in Indonesia. This fact shows how the Balinese people attach themselves to myths and then develop them in creative works. The relationship between the narrative text and visualization will be the material to see what desires are behind their consciousness and unconsciousness in understanding the Calon Arang. There is an antagonistic offer on the characterizations and the creative process that perceives Calon Arang's story. The process of studying the object uses a qualitative method. In a time, observe and be directly involved in the Rangda and Barong ceremonies, see these figures' performances, visit markets and art galleries, and interview Balinese artists and cultural figures. This process concludes that the continuous adaptation process based on the Calon Arang text involves the spiritual and creative power of the Balinese people as part of their narcissistic and analytic desires. Rangda and Barong always provide new phenomena in creative works with antagonistic ideas. Analyzing this data is very important to understand the concepts created, outcomes, and the spirituality of the interwoven in the development of Balinese art. Adaptasi dan Representasi Hasrat Narsis Teks Calon Arang di Bali. Rangda dan Barong merupakan figur yang sering terlihat pada pertunjukan seni, lukisan, dan tato di Bali. Agenda ritual sakral yang melibatkan keduanya selalu menarik perhatian. Demikian juga ketika ia muncul dalam bentuk pertunjukan dan kerajinan untuk wisatawan. Secara historis keberadaan Rangda dan Barong tidak bisa dilepaskan dari teks Calon Arang yang pada walnya berasal dari Pulau Jawa di Indonesia. Kenyaaan ini menunjukkan bagaimana keterikatan masyarakat Bali dengan mitos dan kemudian mengembangkannya dalam karya kreatif. Relasi teks naratif dan visualisasnya akan menjadi bahan untuk melihat hasrat apa yang ada di balik kesadaran dan ketidaksadaran mereka dalam menghayati Calon Arang. Terlihat adanya tawaran antagonistik pada penokohan dan proses kretif yang merpersepsi cerita Calon Arang. Proses pengkajian objek di atas menggunakan metode kualitatif. Selain mengamati dan terlibat langsung dalam upacara Rangda dan Barong, melihat pertunjukan yang melibatkan figur tersebut, mengunjungi pasar dan galeri seni, juga wawancara dengan beberapa seniman dan budayawan Bali. Proses ini memberikan simpulan bahwa proses adaptasi yang berkenajutan berdasar teks Calon Arang melibatkan daya spiritual dan kreatif masyarakat Bali sebagai bagian dari hasrat narsistik dan anaklitik. Rangda dan Barong selalu memberikan fenomena baru dalam karya kreatif dengan berbagai gagasan yang antagonistik. Menganalisis data ini sangat menarik untuk memahami gagasan penciptaan, keberlanjutan karya, dan jalinan spiritualitas dalam perkembangan seni Bali hingga saat ini.

A bibliometric study of organizational storytelling/narrative research

Organizational storytelling/narrative was largely ignored in the academic literature before the 1970s. Today, however, with the spread of ‘storytelling thinking’, this concept has been explored across disciplines including sociology, psychology, anthropology and philosophy. Although much research has emerged in the field of organizational narrative/storytelling, no study has addressed the bibliography of this subject quantitatively. This article is a bibliometric study of organizational storytelling/narration that aims to fill this gap. The data came from the Web of Science (WoS), which includes 441 documents between 1955 and January 2022. VOSviewer software was used to draw charts and create tables. The findings show that most documents have been published in this area in the last two decades, mainly in the United States. This bibliographic study offers two key findings for the field of organization storytelling. First, co-citation analysis provides four clusters, namely Cluster 1: healthcare, Cluster 2: stories of a darker side, Cluster 3: collective centring and collective sensemaking to express organizational culture and Cluster 4: identity and knowledge, shows in which topics the researchers of organizational storytelling/narrative have been most active. Second, co-occurrence analysis presents six clusters, Cluster 1: identification, Cluster 2: systems, Cluster 3: evolution, Cluster 4: performance, Cluster 5: power and Cluster 6: self, which are placed in a logical path related to the maturity levels of the organization and illustrate the topics that correspond to each organizational maturity level. Given the nature of the narrative/story, future researchers are likely to focus more on qualitative analysis and other aspects of quantitative analysis, including citations. Future research should focus on quantitative and qualitative analysis of the existing models of storytelling/narrative.
