Narcotrend or Bispectral Index Monitoring During Desflurane-Remifentanil Anesthesia: A Comparison with a Standard Practice Protocol

Abstract: Monitoring the electroencephalogram with Narcotrend or Bispectral Index during desflurane-remifentanil anesthesia only slightly reduces recovery times when compared with a standard practice protocol.
