“…Currently, the research of ZnO film is concentrated on the coating process, doping process and semiconductor optoelectronic properties etc [3][4][5] .Several researches have been reported for the influence of sputter process on the crystal structure and optical properties of ZnO films.Previous studies have found that ZnO/SiO 2 composite films have excellent optical properties [6][7][8][9] .It is worth to further study for the wetting properties of composite films and find out will it achieve a simple controllable wettability due to its excellent optical properties.…”

“…In addition, as a transition metal, nickel (Ni) presents considerable technological interest due to their applications in several areas, such as catalysis, magnetism, microelectronics and electrochemistry [9]. Up to now, there are a great number of publications reported that the ZnO thin films grown onto the silicon, sapphire and glass substrates [10][11][12], but there are scarce reports described that the ZnO thin films grown onto the Ni layers. In the present paper, the ZnO thin films were grown onto the Ni thin layer and the surface present a novel spindle-like morphology, a transition of grains from standing to horizontal by thermal annealing had been demonstrated, the corresponding changing of structure and PL were also investigated.…”
