Nanotechnologies associated to floral resources in agri-food sector

Abstract: Nanotechnology advent in agri-food sector is set to prompt next revolution in agricultural engineering. However, there is a perpetually rising need for development of new nanotechnologies that could synchronically work with various agrochemicals such as fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and growth promoters to potentially increase farmlands efficiency, preserve agro-ecosystems, and diminish the negative health risks imposed by conventional practices. In nanotechnology, smart delivery systems that utilize ei… Show more

“…A cause is perhaps the increase in the number of living organisms, which enhanced the vital activity in the rhizosphere, which helped in the preparation's continuation of nutrients, especially nitrogen, which increased the process of photosynthesis and the formation of the hormone gibberellin, which is the cause for the growth in the leaf surface area. It corresponds [9]. The treatment of interaction (M3B3) was superior by showing the highest average of 66.10 cm2, however, treatment of interaction M1B1 showed a low mean of 39.65 cm2.…”

“…It is similar to microencapsulation, but the particles are in nano size. Different release mechanisms, such as dissolution, diffusion, or biodegradation may be used to deliver the bioactive compounds in nano-encapsulated materials ( Hack et al, 2012 , Ammar, 2018 ). In vitro, half-lives of nano-capsulated lipase and alkane hydroxylase enzymes were two times longer than encapsulated enzymes, which only retained about 70% of their initial activity after a few days ( Kadri et al, 2018 ).…”
