“…A BAS‐100, Bioanalytical Systems Inc., West Lafayette, IN, USA electrochemical analyzer, connected to a home‐built amplifier was used in cyclic voltammetry (CV). A two‐electrode system was used in CV and fast scan cyclic voltammetry (FSV) . In FSV the scan rate was 500 V s −1 .…”

“…In this work, catalyzed and fast electrochemical oxidation of CA and TP was realized at low positive potentials in aqueous solutions at nanostructured‐ nanoporous CFE in FSV. The apparent catalysis of the oxidation is a result of the electrode structure and rapid signal acquisition in FSV . As a result, in FSV with signal averaging, high sensitivity was achieved in the measurements of CA and TP in aqueous solutions that is significantly higher than in previously reported determinations.…”

“…The reduction of p-nitrophenyl substitute compounds to their corresponding amino derivatives is well known and industrially important [15,16]; however, these compounds are normally not reduced by sodium borohydride in aqueous solution. Instead, the transition state, nitrophenolate ions, are formed which exhibit strong absorbance in the visible with a maximum at 400 nm [17].…”

“…Based on the redox behavior of p-NP as discussed above, the electrochemical detection of p-NP can be realized by prereducing p-NP and then detecting the oxidation of formed p-hydroxyaminophenol with higher sensitivity [27,42,43]. DPV was used here with detailed procedures and parameters described in Section 2.…”
