Nanoliposomes Reduce Stroke Injury Following Middle Cerebral Artery Occlusion in Mice

Abstract: Neuroprotective strategies for stroke remain inadequate. Nanoliposomes comprised of phos-phatidylcholine, cholesterol and monosialogangliosides (NL) induced an antioxidant protective response in endothelial cells exposed to amyloid insults.
