Abstract: Nanocluster aerosols (NCAs, <3 nm particles) are associated with climate feedbacks and potentially with human health. Our recent study revealed NCA formation owing to the reaction of ozone with human surfaces. However, the underlying mechanisms driving NCA emissions remain unexplored.
