Abstract:Superhydrophobic coatings based on carbon nanostructures have high industrial importance. Significant information is available on superhydrophobic coatings based on various carbon nanostructures, including carbon nanotubes, nanofibres, nanospheres, nanodiamond, fullerene, nanostructured carbon soot and graphitic carbon, graphene and others, and their composites with metals, ceramics and polymers. This chapter provides an account of carbon nanostructure-based superhydrophobic coatings and their applications.
